The ticking of the clock

It began innocently; I decided to take a glance online at a sport I was immersed in for several years, bodybuilding. I wanted to know who had one the Mr. Olympia Contest which takes place each fall around this time. Two hours later, I'm sitting here writing about it.
Not to worry though. If you want to take a look yourself, go ahead.
Tonight was more about sitting in front of the compter and looking at webistes of bodybuilding and health and fitness. If you invested as much time as I did in bodybuilding, or any sport for that matter, you will understand how I got caught up in it and why, years after my last competition, bodybuilding is still flowing through my veins.
As my workouts have given way to other facets of my life, as I nurse a bad shoulder and recurring back injury and as I face the final few weeks of university, I remain interested in the sport of bodybuilding.
For those of you who know me know, this may come as a bit of a surprise but for those who knew me then - and some of you also competed - you know what I am talking about.

Rainy days and Mondays

Endulge me in listing as many songs relating to MOndays and/or rainy days as possible. I have just walked the 'wet mile' as my car began making an odd, pinging sound, followed by a loss of acceleration; I decided to abandon car. I walked to the school and now am in the process of getting my car towed to a garage. I am holding my breath as to what is wrong with it.

I thought that in honour of this momentus PITA ocassion to ask my readers to lay some musical suggestions on me as a way of finding humour in what could be a costly problem.

Anyways, that's really all I feel like writing at this time.
